CRF L&D Interest Group: The 70/ 20/ 10 Learning Concept
15 June 2011
Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HS
We will be joined by Ellen Pruyne and Inge Wels from Ashridge Business School. Their field of expertise is learning transfer and impact. They are just completing research into the approach of highly influential learning and development practitioners. They recently presented at the Future of Learning Conference in Australia, which focused on the application of the 70/20/10 principle.
They will introduce the session by sharing ideas and facilitating a discussion around these questions:
- where does 70/20/10 come from?
- who was it designed for?
- what does it mean?
- how is it being used?
- how is it impacting the L&D function?
- what's the nature of the debate in professional circles about its value/ significance ?
We'll then move into more of an action learning format where we'll address Members particular interests, concerns and opportunities.
Please come prepared to share your understanding of 70/20/10 and any lessons from your experience of applying it.
Places at the Interest Group Meeting are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please use the on-line event registration facility.
We will contact you to confirm your attendance
