Employee Engagement & Organisational Performance
Research Reports
28 January 2010
Overview
This research report, authored by CRF's Andrew Lambert, takes stock of where the concept of employee engagement has got to some 10 years after becoming a popular management concept, and after a couple of years of recession. It analyses what has and hasn't yet been learnt.
It draws conclusions - and recommends good approaches - about issues such as defining ‘engagement'; the linkage with managing performance; measuring engagement and follow-up action planning; and the roles of organisational leaders, line managers, HR and Corporate Communications. It also provides a selected guide to the burgeoning quantity of surveys and publications in this field.
The report features 12 illustrations of where different companies are at in addressing employee engagement.
