This meeting reported on research findings from a report on the subject, examined what evidence-based HR (EBHR) is – and is not and provided case examples from RBS and Standard Chartered Bank. Experts discussed what is meant by evidence and how EBHR connects to measurement, evaluation and diagnosis in HR. A key theme of the meeting was that good EBHR leads to better decisions – along with improved effectiveness of people management and the HR function.
