In this report CRF reviews where ‘employee engagement’ has got to in the last 10 years and in the light of the MacLeod Review. CRF examines in particular the inter-connection with organisational performance, the lessons to be learnt in the context of economic recession and the part engagement should play in organisational governance. Practical recommendations are provided as well as 15 case studies from our member organisations.
