Residential Workshop - Two-day event 29 April & 30 April 2010

Who is it for?

Senior professionals with experience in OD who wish to develop their capabilities further, and bring more powerful OD insights and skills to their organisation.

Overview

This two-day advanced workshop aims to enhance skills in planning and conducting successful OD interventions, and address personal preparedness for the rigours of facilitating change and improvement. An authoritative workbook on OD theory and practice is provided.

Attendance criteria

The workshop will build directly on the tools and practices covered in the 2009 two-day and 2010 one-day Understanding the World of OD workshop. Therefore it is essential that participants on this workshop have attended one of these in advance. If you would like to discuss the entry requirements please call us on 020 7470 7104.

Content

The workshop will be highly participative with a balance of teaching and learning through exercises. Participants will be invited as pre-work to consider challenges their organisations are experiencing, on which they can work during the workshop. The areas covered will include:

Workshop Leaders

Dr Mee-Yan Cheung-Judge
Mee-Yan has worked with more than 300 clients, varying from multinational blue chip companies to higher education institutions, national government agencies, arts and media organisations and charities, solving problems in the areas of change management, organisation design and organisation development. A tireless champion of OD, she initiated the first UK OD practitioner continuous education programme at Roffey Park Business School and the first UK National OD Conference in 2002. She founded her company, Quality and Equality, in 1987.

Graham Prentice
Graham was until recently HR Director for Nestlé Nutrition. He joined Nestlé in 1986 after working for Cadbury Schweppes, and has held a wide variety of senior management positions, including both generalist and specialist HR roles in the UK and Switzerland. Graham now advises companies, designs learning programmes and provides coaching and counselling services.
