Harnessing the digital revolution to develop multi-channel learning opportunities
20 September 2011
60 Great Tower Street, London, EC3R 5AZ
The next meeting of the CRF L&D Interest Group will be on Tuesday, September 20th from 4.30-7.00. The meeting venue is the RSA Insurance Group office at Plantation Place South, 60 Great Tower Street, London, EC3R 5AZ.
The purpose of the meeting is to share current practice and future plans around the session theme, particularly as it relates to the potential of social networking.
To get the meeting started we are very fortunate to have Peter Butler as our guest contributor.
Until recently Peter was Director of Learning at Lloyds Banking Group where he led a transformation programme to reshape the organisation to run learning as a value-adding business. Prior to that, as Director of Learning at BT Group, Peter delivered a single, global, enterprise-wide Learning Management System for the company. He also supported the work of e skills UK in the development and launch of a National Skills Academy for the IT Sector, and was at the forefront of developing the collaborative and networked social learning platforms – Dare2Share.
Peter’s philosophy is to deliver learning at the point of need using flexible delivery channels that meet the objective of “any time, any place and on any device”.
Please come prepared to share your ideas, experience and questions.
