Event

Change is no longer a one-off event – it is now a constant for individuals and organisations everywhere. Whilst change is hard, it is also an opportunity to design better ways of meeting people’s needs. Through giving colleagues a sense of optimism we can help them chart a path through uncertainty and increase our chances of success.

In this hands-on two-day residential workshop we will utilise human-centred design and change frameworks to help participants address their specific challenges. Participants will learn how to manage change through design thinking and will leave the session ready to apply new techniques in their context.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore how to apply the principles of design thinking and human-centred design to effectively manage change at scale.
  • Learn about various change frameworks, including:
  • The I-We-It lens of cascading influence which explains how the ways we learn and grow as individuals affects how teams and organisations work together collectively.
  • The ARC framework which helps us design new routines to change organisation cultures and lower the barriers to adopting new behaviours.
  • Guided Mastery which helps break down large-scale change efforts into a series of achievable steps.
  • Practise and build confidence in applying tools and techniques in your context.
  • Share and learn from the experiences and expertise of peers.

Leaders who manage their emotions and build strong relationships with their teams will be better positioned to adapt to changing circumstances and drive success in an increasingly complex and unpredictable business landscape.

During this 45-minute interactive masterclass we will explore the ‘outer focus’ competencies that enable leaders to maximise their emotional capital, enabling them to take on new challenges and respond creatively and effectively to new opportunities.
