Post Meeting Notes – Digital Culture: How Technology is Changing the Way we Work, Communicate & Behave

These Post Meeting Notes summarise the key points from CRF's 2019 Summer Lecture, Digital Culture: How Technology is Changing the Way we Communicate, Work and Behave.

Digital Anthropologist, Rahaf Harfoush explains the ways in which technology is weaving itself into the social fabric of our lives and the incremental influence it has on almost everything we do.

Rahaf identifies five forces which influence our behaviour in relation to digital culture, including:

  • Data Abundance
  • Digital Relativism
  • Digital DNA
  • Dissolution of Boundaries
  • Evolutionary Ecosystems

How do we embrace digital evolution? Are we holding ourselves accountable for the impact of our technology?
