Post Meeting Notes – HR Leader’s Forum: Building Purposeful Organisations

These post meeting notes are from the CRF event in Stockholm, HR Leaders' Forum: Building Purposeful Organisations, with John Whelan MBE, Director CRF, Alyson Meister, Professor of Leadership at IMD Business School, Amy Sawbridge, Employer Brand Consultant and Fredrik Schuller, Executive Vice President, BTS.

John Whelan MBE, CRF Director explored digital disruption, growth, innovation and speed, inclusive culture and wellbeing, and the importance these have and impacts they have on an organisation. How do we ensure that all elements of our supply chains observe our standards and values?

Alyson Meister, Professor of Leadership, IMD Business School spoke about the importance for both individuals and organisations to discover and sustain a sense of purpose in the changing world of work. He included his 4P's approach of the modern career, which are portfolio-based, portable, public and purposeful. Why does purpose matter to organisations?

Amy Sawbridge shared her insights on building sustainable employer brands and experiences. What is an employer brand and how can you ensure it is truly authentic?

We also heard from Fredrik Schuller, Exective Vice President of BTS, who discussed the speeds at which we are facing change and disruption. How can we create a culture that has a clear sense of purpose to adapt to this change?
