Remote Working Recommendations

Remote working has become a significant factor within a flexible working environment, and especially amidst the current outbreak of COVID-19, remote working is a reality for more of us than ever before. This document summarises some recommendations for maximising the effectiveness of this way of working.

Our tips include:

  • Planning - setting a schedule each day with regular breaks and setting up a suitable work space
  • Communication & Technology - staying connected with your team through video calls, and using file sharing tools
  • Behaviour & Mindset - ensuring no one is secluded from regular communications and spreading positive attitudes
  • Leaders - what can those responsible for leading others do to ensure progress is made?
