Workforce Strategy

In today’s world of ever-increasing complexity, it is even more important to prepare for an uncertain future armed with a plan that can be adapted to changing circumstances, rather than simply reacting to unforeseen events. Adopting a strategic approach to workforce planning will leave organisations better prepared to deal with a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

CRF and Advanced Workforce Strategies (AWS) invited CRF members to complete the Workforce Strategy Audit Survey. This report sets out the aggregated responses of the CRF member organisations who completed the survey.

Topics covered by the workforce strategy survey include:
• Alignment between business and workforce strategies
• Documentation, involvement, scope and process of Strategic Workforce Planning
• Workforce segmentation and role differentiation
• Collection, integration, analysis and interpretation of HR data
• Utilisation, engagement and retention of talent
• Learning and development
• Deployment of human capital
• Implementation and outcomes of workforce strategic planning

Here, you can download and view this report on the Workforce Strategy Audit Survey. The full report is accessible for CRF members only. If you are not a member and are interested in discussing membership, please contact Richard Hargreaves on richard@crforum.co.uk.
