Video: The Future of Learning

When organisational success requires the ability to sense and respond at speed to changes in the external environment, the capacity for learning at both the individual and organisational level is essential. Furthermore, success in developing a workforce that’s future-fit will require significant investment in reskilling, which requires both formal learning and the opportunity to practise new skills on-the-job. Developing a mindset of continuous learning and creating the supporting infrastructure to build the capabilities needed to execute the business strategy are critical deliverables for a future-focused learning function.

Corporate learning is becoming increasingly technology-driven. However, the critical challenge for learning functions remains how to align business and learning strategies so investment in learning is focused where it will have greatest impact on business outcomes. Technology alone will not get us where we need to be. This event and the accompanying research explores future developments in this fast-changing field and considers how companies can apply the latest thinking to address critical business challenges and create a culture of learning.
