CRF’s introductory AI Hackathon, delivered in partnership with Project Breakthrough, is designed to help HR professionals move from curiosity about AI to practical experimentation.
Join us on 1 October for a fast-paced, three-hour session exploring how AI can support people, culture and organisational effectiveness.
You’ll gain a clear understanding of AI fundamentals, hear practical HR use cases, and get hands-on experience creating an AI-enabled solution to a real HR challenge.
Working in small groups, you’ll use the Lovable platform to tackle an authentic case study and explore how AI can be applied across areas such as talent acquisition, learning, analytics and workflow automation.
No coding experience is required.

Aleks Tosovic
Director of Workforce Consulting, SThree and Co-Lead, Project Breakthrough
Aleks Tosovic leads SThree’s workforce advisory practice, helping organisations navigate AI disruption across workforce strategy, skills, and capability building. With over 14 years of experience in workforce consulting and organisational development, he has designed AI enablement programmes, future skills frameworks, and workforce transformation initiatives. As a Microsoft Certified AI Transformation Leader and certified Executive Coach, he specialises in the intersection of technology adoption and people change.
Aleks is also co-founder of Project Breakthrough, an Amsterdam-based AI learning community and hackathon series. He has designed and delivered hands-on AI learning experiences with organisations including Duke Corporate Education, Lepaya, Workday-Sana Labs, and AI House Amsterdam.
Debora Gallo
Co-Lead, Project Breakthrough
Debora Gallo works at the intersection of AI, workforce capability, and organisational performance, helping companies redesign how work happens in the AI era.
As VP Talent Development at Mews, she leads AI capability building, skills-based talent systems, leadership development, and performance infrastructure, focused on turning AI adoption into measurable productivity. She is also co-founder of Project Breakthrough, a hackathon series putting People & Culture teams in the builder’s seat, and prototypes internal tools and micro-apps that change how organisations learn, measure performance, and adopt new technology.
Ali Akkaya
Senior Digital Solutions Manager
As Senior Digital Solutions Manager at Corporate Research Forum, Ali designs AI-enabled systems that help research, commercial and events teams work more effectively. Drawing on a background in research, teaching, learning design, software development and digital product development, he focuses on a question HR leaders increasingly face: which parts of work should AI improve, and what should remain human? He brings a practical, problem-first perspective to AI adoption, helping organisations move beyond tools to rethink jobs, workflows, accountability and the value created by freed-up capacity.
Jessica Finn
Client Partner, Corporate Research Forum
Jessica collaborates with organisations to expand their networks and provides dedicated support to clients, helping them maximise their network benefits through research, networking opportunities and advisory services. Jessica brings more than 12 years’ of experience in business development and extensive experience in supporting international member networks.
