Post Meeting Notes: Strong Foundations: Evidence-Based HR
Today’s business environment is coloured by uncertainty and risk. It is all too easy to make the wrong decisions at the wrong time, with potentially high-stakes consequences for organisations.
Still, the HR function too often continues to make subjective decisions based on a ‘gut feeling’ or ‘hunch’. Evidence-based HR (EBHR) refers to a process of problem definition, evidence-gathering, and assessment that HR professionals and teams can use to improve the quality of their decision-making and delivery.
On Thursday 18 May, over 150 HR professionals joined CRF in London to discuss the latest research report co-authored by Prof. Rob Briner, Nigel Guenole, Wendy Hirsh and Gillian Pillans. And sponsored by CRF partners Bird & Bird, Mercer and Oracle.
Access the Post Meeting Notes from the event which will provide you with:
- An overview of EBHR and how far HR has progressed in this area, including key principles, processes and barriers.
- A brief guide to HR analytics and how it can be applied at your organisation.
- Learnings from three case study organisations on how their HR functions have implemented evidence-based practices.
- Practical quick wins, as well as longer-term changes, you can make to strengthen EBHR at your organisation.
