Employee Experience and High-Performance Culture

Video: Applying Social Science to Behavioural Change

  • February 18, 2022

As organisations continue to shift and reinvent their business models, how can changing behaviour unlock future capabilities? How critical is behavioural change in successfully reacting to and pre-empting market challenges and complexity? Which strategies and tools are effective at enabling change?

This two-day immersive workshop, with contribution from APS, explored the science behind behaviour change and uncovered HR’s role in creating the conditions for change. At the individual level, we considered how to facilitate and support individuals to sustain new behaviours. And at the organisational level, we considered how to use the tools of behaviour change to shift cultures and create psychological safety.

Access the associated research, including case studies and post meeting notes from the workshop here.

The workshop is divided into three parts, and three corresponding videos follow:

  1. Dr. Grace Lordan, Founding Director of the Inclusion Initiative and Professor at the London School of Economics led the workshop and delivered the content.
  2. Author of CRF’s associated research, Dr. Carmen von Rohr in discussion with Dr. Grace Lordan to an online audience.
  3. Rob Field, Learning & Development Director at APS, led a session exploring leadership styles and how they impact behaviour and organisation culture.
