What is the Mastering Strategic HR: Driving Organisational Performance Programme?

HR exists to drive business performance and Mastering Strategic HR: Driving Organisational Performance is designed to equip senior Business Partners and HR leaders with the tools and frameworks to elevate their function’s impact. Led by CRF Associate Research Director and Organisational Psychology Professor Rob Briner, this course focuses on the collective and systemic influence of HR on organisational goals. It is not just about enhancing individual capabilities; it is about empowering HR teams to align strategically, overcome barriers and drive measurable performance outcomes across the business.

What makes this Programme Unique:

  • Designed to drive organisational performance
Unlike programmes that focus primarily on individual development, this programme helps participants connect HR strategy directly to business measures such as productivity, performance and customer outcomes.
  • Moving HR from execution to strategic influence
Tailored for senior HR Business Partners and HR leaders, the programme focuses on how HR can operate as a genuine strategic partner, shaping organisational direction rather than responding tactically.
  • Evidence‑based tools with immediate application
Participants are introduced to practical, research‑informed frameworks that support better strategic decision‑making and can be applied straight away in their organisational context.
  • Collective learning grounded in real organisational challenges
Through peer discussion and shared problem‑solving, participants co‑create solutions to common challenges and develop clear, organisation‑level action plans.
  • Built for sustained impact, not one‑off learning
A structured follow‑up session ensures insight is translated into action, reinforcing application over time and supporting measurable organisational impact.
