D&I and Wellbeing
Community Event: DI&W – Empowering Line Managers: Enhancing Team and Personal Wellbeing Through Leadership
Wednesday 7th May, 11am – 12pm BST
The role of the line manager has evolved in recent years to include not only commercial success but also to look after the wellbeing of their teams. Managers play a pivotal role in supporting employee wellbeing, for example through dictating workload and working practices, fostering inclusivity, and building trust and connection, making them essential to the development of a thriving, high-performing organisation.
This session will discuss some of the challenges facing line managers and look at how HR leaders can help to equip them to contribute to better mental health – for their teams and for themselves.
This community is intended for senior HR professionals with responsibility for D&I, Wellbeing and the role of the organisation in society. It offers an excellent platform for sharing, discussing, and comparing challenges and successes with peers.
Throughout the year, the community meets to address topical issues and stays connected via a WhatsApp group, regular updates, and networking opportunities. Members of the community can stay informed with access to our webpage of curated content to enhance their knowledge.
