CRF Community Event – HR Directors, By Invitation
Employee Voice and Activism. We will be joined by Nelson Phillips, Professor and Co-Director for the Centre of Responsible Leadership at Imperial College London, to explore how organisations are moderating, managing and responding the increasing politicised nature of the workplace.
As societal conversations on topics like climate change, diversity and sustainability become ever more polarised, political discussions within firms are becoming louder and more strident. For HR professionals, this raises a number of important questions:
- What are the boundaries of tone and content in political discussion among employees? What is the role of HR in managing the discussion?
- As demands for companies to take a more active role in various ESG issues increases, senior management find themselves facing ever more questions. How can these conversations between employees and top management be best managed to produce positive and constructive outcomes? What is the role of HR in managing these discussions?
The purpose of the HRD Community is to provide an exclusive space for HR Directors operating at Group, Regional or Divisional level to come together to share good practices, challenge each other’s thinking and learn together.
The community meets throughout the year to address topical issues and will stay connected via a WhatsApp group, regular updates and networking.
We look forward to having you join us in June.
