D&I and Wellbeing
DIW Community Webinar – Creating a Culture of Care in the Workplace
Tuesday 28th January, 12-1pm GMT / 1-2pm CET
This webinar will explore the challenges faced by carers and provide practical guidance for creating supportive workplace environments. It’s designed for employers, offering insights on how to address the needs of carers and recognising the value they bring to the workplace.
We will review relevant legislation that supports carers in the workplace, helping employers stay compliant and empowering carers with knowledge of their rights, giving examples of reasonable adjustments employers can make, such as flexible working hours.
Recognising the importance of self-care, the webinar will offer tips for carers on managing stress and preventing burnout. The session will conclude with a Q&A session to allow participants to ask questions and discuss their own experiences, as well as a recap of the key takeaways, providing useful resources for both carers and employers to implement in their workplaces.
This community is intended for senior HR professionals with responsibility for D&I, Wellbeing and the role of the organisation in society. It offers an excellent platform for sharing, discussing, and comparing challenges and successes with peers.
Throughout the year, the community meets to address topical issues and stays connected via a WhatsApp group, regular updates, and networking opportunities. Members of the community can stay informed with access to our webpage of curated content to enhance their knowledge.
