Developing an
Evidence-Based
HR Function

Amsterdam

In-Person | Thursday 5 March 2026
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
09.30 – 15.00 CET

Event

Evidence-based practice is a powerful tool that helps to make any profession more effective. Evidence-based HR (EBHR) enables practitioners to make better-informed decisions about the issues they face and select the best interventions. This strengthens the HR function and increases its impact on the business.

Following on from our 2023 research Strong Foundations: Evidence-Based HR and 2024 research Evidence-Based HR: A New Paradigm, this event will take a closer look at what HR practitioners know about EBHR, present case studies and advice from those who’ve applied it, and provide a range of practical resources to help HR functions start and sustain EBHR.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop a detailed understanding of HR professionals’ knowledge of EBHR, their current level of use of EBHR and what they perceive as barriers and facilitators.
  • Through case studies, analyse how EBHR has been applied in practice and the challenges and benefits it brings.
  • Gain insight and guidance from those who have already implemented EBHR.
  • Understand and then start to apply a range of practical resources to your HR function.

Who is this event for?

HR practitioners who want to become more effective in their role, or help their function to also become more effective.
