Post Meeting Notes – Spring Lecture: Bringing Down the Walls in Social Mobility
On 31st March 2020, CRF hosted members at our annual Spring Lecture, held this year as a Zoom Interactive Event. Professor of Finance Arturo Bris, Director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center, led a discussion of financial, economic, technological, and social development in the context of global competitiveness.
Professor Bris described a series of walls - between rich and poor, genders and generations, and how these barriers between us can be broked down. How can we use technology to our advantage? What does deglobalisation mean for us? How will China's role change post the COVID-19 outbreak?
