Research: HR’s Contribution to Sustainable Business in the Gulf Region
Sustainability is no longer a ‘nice-to-have’; it is now a top priority for governments, businesses and society in the Gulf region, with sustainability targets forming a key part of national strategic plans. The sustainability agenda will also only become more important as many companies based in the region experience rapid growth and expand their global reach and investment.
CRF believes that HR has an important role to play in the region across all aspects of the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) agenda, from ensuring firms have the right skills to achieve their sustainability strategies, to building an inclusive workforce and supporting ethical leadership. Equipped with practical case studies and frameworks, this report explores how HR is contributing to sustainability in the Gulf region, and how practitioners can further increase HR’s strategic support to the sustainability agenda.
