Evidence-Based HR:

Workshop

In-Person/Online Team Solution

Workshop

You’d be hard pushed to find a single HR professional who thought HR’s use of data and evidence was perfect and simply could not be improved in any way.

There is now widespread acceptance – right across the profession – that more can and needs to be done to improve our use of evidence to improve our effectiveness as a function and add greater value to the business.

Following our recent research on Evidence-Based HR, we have developed a workshop to help you bring EBHR training to your teams. We have broken the day and a half workshop into three parts. You can choose to do all three parts, or just one, or two, based on your team needs.

You’ve got to want to do it, you’ve got to know how to do it, and you’ve got to seek opportunities to do it!

Workshop Design:

Part 1 – Behaviour analysis (1/2 day) Is your function currently using EBHR? How effectively are you implementing it? Part one of this workshop will give your team a general understanding of what EBHR is and why it’s important. During this session your team will answer questions about how well they feel the team operates and uses EBHR.

Part 2 – Reflection (1/2 day) Our vision is always better looking backwards than forwards. Now that your team has a good understanding of when and how to use EBHR, using the EBHR audit tool, part 2 will look back on a project and identify how it could have been used throughout the process, and how it could have impacted the outcomes.

Part 3 – Looking Forward (1/2 day) – The final part of this workshop will have you and your team look at your future projects. Which of these can you implement when using EBHR?  You will leave this final session with steps that you can take to use EBHR on a specific project.

Post Workshop Support:

All participants will be able to join the EBHR WhatsApp group, facilitated by Rob, to ask questions as well as continue the discussion with other organisations across the CRF network.

Who is this event for?

Could your or your team be using EBHR more effectively? This workshop is for teams who want to want to better understand the evidence-based HR process and how they can use it to maximise their dataset of the EBHR process, including: professional expertise, scientific literature, organisational data, and stakeholder views and concerns.

The workshop is tailor-made for HR leaders making evidence-based HR decisions and Data Analytics practitioners who are looking to widen their skill set in an EBHR context. These sessions will also be useful for HR practitioners who want to become more effective in their role, or help their function to also become more effective.
